Sources for Equestrian Supplies in & around Lake Chapala

Source for grain buckets, manure forks, lead lines, halters (all sizes), many bits, bridles, crops, saddles, etc. you can buy readily at a store in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco named CHIVALI, S.A. De C.V. CHILANO (Vitaminas, Alimentos, e Instrumental) They carry many veterinary and farrier supplies. They can order many things through Mexico City, if they don't presently have what you need.

Also, another store to check in Guadalajara is Talabarteria Hipodromo. They are probably the best stocked place to buy English tack, boots, vests, saddles, bridles, blankets, wormers, fly spray in gallon containers (Ultra-Shield and showsheen), women's English riding pants, shirts, etc. They sell things like Easy boots, gift items and much more.

In Mexico, their is a company that makes flexible fencing and their web site is: www.tecnoplastecologico.com Their products go by the name Plasticorales. They make fencing, stall siding, pallets for storing hay and many more items out of their fencing material.

Also, at the Union Ganadera location in Guadalajara is a discount vet supply store where you can go to buy wormers, & meds. It is located right below the Charro Ring of the fair grounds that are used for the annual Expo Ganadera in October. It opens at 9 am daily Mon. thru Sat. They also carry the small equine salt blocks.
